ALOHAS Madrid
Following the design of ALOHAS’ flagship store in Barcelona, Clap Studio brings the volcanic imaginary to the heart of Madrid with a new space located on Claudio Coello Street. Preserving the original concept — the volcano as a symbol of energy, strength, and transformation — this second interpretation proposes a more condensed, almost sculptural experience.
In a compact setting, a metallic pyramid-shaped tiered structure takes center stage, facing a mirror. This layout creates an optical illusion that completes the pyramid, visually expanding the space and reinforcing a sense of monumentality. The mirror acts as a poetic extension of the landscape, inviting visitors to step into an imagined topography.
The walls, coated with rough, textured finishes, evoke the rawness of solidified lava and add a tactile contrast that heightens the sensation of a primitive and natural environment. The entire space resonates with the ALOHAS universe, defined by a bold, conscious, and contemporary aesthetic.
More than just a retail store, the result is a fragment of volcanic terrain embedded within the city.
