How to convey sensations before even touching the product? At Balloon we wanted to respond to this challenge by creating a collection of furniture that, just by looking at it, would transmit a sensation of comfort, even before touching it. By using the contrast of a rigid element against a soft and spongy one, we managed to evoke this sensation. We imagine a balloon filled with air that is compressed by our hands. In this case, the legs of Balloon are the ones that are creating this visual effect of sponginess by compressing its cushion and allowing them to embrace the structure. A small detail that plays with our senses.
